Just a few hours ago, my son (10 years old) was crossing the road after practice. Due to a high snowdrift, he didn't see a car and was almost hitπ±π±π±. The car ran over his leg with the back wheel. And drove away without stoppingπ€¬π€¬π€¬
He walked home by himself. We went to the trauma center, took an X-ray. There is no fracture. Just a bruise of soft tissuesπππ
I always have a delayed reaction to stress. In the moment, I am always calm as a snake. And only after everything is over, it hits me. Oh my God, if it had been just a couple of centimeters more, he would have been hit! πππ The car was going at a decent speed.
