Chapter 3. Lessons from the Spirit. Growth.
During one of our channeling sessions with the Spirit, we received information that the time for deep transformation had arrived. To ensure we didn’t miss anything or become distracted, we canceled all plans and stepped away from social media.
We began to undergo transformational lessons, all guided by the Spirit—our Spirit, our Higher Self.
When certain situations arose, we would channel for guidance. "What’s happening?" we’d ask, and we’d receive answers.
In September, I contracted dengue fever, a tropical illness from a mosquito bite. My whole body was shaking uncontrollably, and I couldn’t stop it. My temperature soared to 40°C. It was so unbearable that, in the middle of the night, I woke Ilya up and asked him to hold me, help me get warm, and just be there with me.
The fever burned me to ashes and resurrected me within hours. That night, I experienced a second birth. I already knew then that something was changing and that life would never be the same.
The next morning, I woke up with a sense of something new. Our daughter was still sleeping, so I stepped out of the bedroom. The house was filled with sunlight and felt different—like a new home, as if we had just moved in. Everything felt unfamiliar, as though it wasn’t yet filled with our energy.
One sign that you’ve shifted to another reality is waking up in your own home, where everything looks familiar, but you sense that something is different. Something has changed. Or when you get into your car and feel the seat or steering wheel is positioned differently, even though no one else has used it. Or when you pour your usual shampoo into your hand but notice it smells different. Or when you eat your regular food and realize the taste has shifted.
Congratulations! These are all signs that you’ve transitioned into a new reality, and your life is about to take a completely new direction.
One morning, I woke up with my throat swollen with pus and a temperature of 40°C. It felt like there was a hole in my throat. I started analyzing it. According to psychosomatics, a sore throat represents unspoken anger or irritation—when something is too big to swallow.
I channeled for answers from the Spirit. The Spirit began unraveling past situations for me, some from 3–4 years ago, where I had held back from speaking my truth. Bit by bit, unspoken anger accumulated, until it turned into an infection in my throat.
All I needed to do was to express, "I’m angry," or "I’m upset." But instead, I would refrain, thinking, I won’t lower my vibrations; I won’t get involved. I genuinely believed I was doing the right thing.
Then the Spirit said, “You did this out of arrogance. Out of pride.”
I was shocked but accepted the information. I recognized and healed my pride. The fever immediately subsided.
That month was a journey of self-discovery, but it involved confronting my unpleasant sides.
The lessons soon reached a new level. We began receiving assignments from the Spirit during channeling.
The first assignment was to monitor every thought of judgment—whether we were observing people, watching stories, or listening to conversations. Whenever we judged, it stemmed from pride. We learned to identify and heal these moments.
Judging others and their actions keeps a person anchored in the third dimension.
Previously, I was known for giving people "tough love"—firm, motivational feedback. I sincerely believed it was the right thing to do and that it benefited them. But this, too, stemmed from pride. I would elevate myself above them and point out their mistakes. In reality, I was disrespecting their journey, lessons, and experiences.
The Spirit explained, "Your task was only to help people understand that living their experiences and learning their lessons is perfectly okay."
I was stunned by this realization.
If we overlooked a thought or failed to heal it, our health would immediately deteriorate.
How did this manifest?
A fever of 40°C, a swollen eye, ear pain—I knew these were lessons. If I missed something, I would channel for clarity, and the Spirit would highlight what was wrong. As soon as I understood and healed my pride, the symptoms would vanish.
The Spirit showed how pride exists in everyone and reflects in everything. It’s so multifaceted that it seems to be everything, and everything seems to be it.
Hurt feelings are also a manifestation of pride. When we’re offended, it’s simply our ego reacting to unmet expectations or beliefs.
Judgment—evaluating someone as right or wrong—is pride. Control, shifting responsibility, guilt—they all stem from pride.
Even fear is a facet of pride. It’s pride that asks, How will I manage? What will happen to me?
And we didn’t just receive this information; we were tasked with identifying and healing these patterns.
How could we recognize them? By encountering situations where we had to feel them.
There was so much information, and it became exhausting. I asked the Spirit, "How do I move forward? Where should I go? How should I express myself?"
The Spirit replied, “You will no longer practice numerology.”
I felt fear. How could that be? I had been doing numerology for 14 years—it was a significant part of my life.
I realized I hadn’t practiced numerology in a while, but I wasn’t ready to let it go entirely. I didn’t pass that lesson immediately, and I paid the price. The Spirit doesn’t mind how a lesson is taught.
The next day, our whole family came down with rotavirus. First our daughter, then Ilya two hours later, and me two hours after that. I channeled, and the Spirit said, “The programs you’re unwilling to release need to come out. Your mindset, lifestyle, interaction with the world—these outdated programs must leave.”
I thought, Fine, let them out. It was intense.
But my mind didn’t connect this with numerology.
When we recovered, our daughter stopped urinating. That’s when it clicked—this was about not letting go of what needed to be released. I had outgrown numerology and needed to move on to something new.
We decided to close our numerology courses.
Our daughter’s symptoms resolved immediately—literally within moments.
The lesson was complete.
We sold the remaining course slots, enrolled our final group, and went to the Philippines for a break.
But I developed a fever again.
I asked the Spirit, “What’s happening?”
The Spirit replied, “You don’t know how to rest. You’ve scheduled sessions and work every day.”
I had always admired my productivity—launching projects, giving birth, buying property—all in the same period. I was proud of my multitasking abilities, thinking, I’m amazing!
But over time, I realized this, too, was pride. The desire to be better, to be above others— They can’t do this, but I can! It was more about superiority than I was willing to admit.
I had also imposed this productivity-driven stress on Ilya, my students, and myself.
When I finally understood this, I canceled all sessions and took a break from teaching.
The fever disappeared instantly.
I also realized my drive for productivity and multitasking stemmed from wanting my father’s approval. I wanted him to recognize and be proud of my success.
I healed this as well.
Then I thought, Why are my transformations tied to illness? What is this about?
I asked the Spirit, “Can this program be canceled?”
The Spirit replied, “Yes. You created it yourself.”
The Spirit showed me how, years ago, I had set this program for myself. That’s why my transformations came through illness.
I canceled the program.
Transformations can be gentle, compassionate, and harmonious.
